Carved timber bowl

These beautiful oval-shaped bowls are handcarved from Mukwa - a hardwood endemic to eastern Zambia.  They are striking, durable and multi-functional.  

Some cracks or knot-holes in the bowls appear due to natural occurances in the timber - these are not considered a fault, but a piece of beauty - perfectly imperfect. 

Choose from Plain or Dimpled outer carving detail - the patterned bowls are decoratively carved on the outside with geometrical shapes.

Due to the handmade nature of this product, slight variations and imperfections are expected & embraced as a mark of the artisan.
